Job Opening

Partridge Public Library Posted on April 10, 2023 by LibraryStaffDecember 19, 2024

The Partridge Public Library is looking for an energetic person who enjoys working with children to lead our Summer Reading program.

The primary responsibility of this position is to coordinate and lead our Summer Reading Program for children, preschool through 6th grade. This position will have full supervision of the Children’s Area during the programs and maintain a safe, productive, and attractive environment. This position involves working directly with children and their parents or caregivers. It is important, therefore, that the person genuinely likes children, is comfortable with them, and enjoys serving them. This is a highly visible and responsible position. Above all, the person in this position should make all people feel welcome and accepted at the Library.

This is a part-time position of 3.5 hours per week, for the months of May, June & July.

If you are interested and for more information, please come into the library to fill out an application and visit with Keturah Delehoy, Director/Librarian.
